DMCA / copyright takedown notices

If you believe content on Rate My City infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@ratemycity.app with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" including, per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL or city/review description) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information — address, phone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

We'll review valid notices and remove or disable access to the identified material. Someone whose content was removed may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g); we'll forward instructions on request.
